Bieksa is a great teacher as evidenced by his success at HNIC. He expertly translated the skills that made him such a good teammate to his post hockey broadcasting career which is just getting started. Hopefully his thoughtful words to the current day Canucks can inspire them to do better.

Such a great player, its funny how you dont realize how much you will miss a player until they are not on the ice.

the way juice lights up when the trainer tells him he has a stall setup is just awesome

Favorite memory of bieksa was vern fiddler’s impression of him and coach V cracking up

Bieksa looks like he’d be a hell of a coach the motivation and discipline in the room and behind the bench would be amazing

I really loved how he truly got ready for that game like it was any other game, dude was always all business on the ice but off the ice he was a leader through and though. Glad he was able to have such a great moment! Maybe one day after his SN career we can see him behind the bench! 🙏 Whatever happens I am so glad we were able to find such a gem like Juice 💪

I think the Canucks should hire Bieksa, Kesler and Burrows as assistant coaches, might put the fear of God into those boys

Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I’m not Canadian but I have fallen in love with ice hockey, my girlfriend is from Vancouver. The Canucks actually lost to the Ducks that day. Which is shocking, we couldn’t believe it.

Nice this was able to happen. I enjoy his insights on HNIC. The only jarring thing was he said that his kids were both born at VGH. I may be wrong but I don't think VGH has had maternity services for over 25 years. Does he mean BC Women's, one of the largest tertiary care centres in Canada?

At least this was cool. Watching an actual Canucks game is painful.

Cannot overstate my dissapointment they did not play Bieksa for at least one shift if not a period - it would have been the season highlight. Also they should have put Sedins out there as well. Fans would have absolutely loved it! The canucks suck and ownership.. is the main problem here. But also the players are a problem as well.. bunch of divas who do not seem to comprehend Bieksa's "get it going" message or mentality. I have seen these players before in my own sport and there is no hope.. the ship will sink before they realize their attitude was part of the problem all long..

I mean they would have been playing with 5 defensemen and 10 forwards thought it would be cool
