My favorite movie as a kid. I remember my brother and i had a damaged but still working VHS copy our whole childhood, and i remember being so afraid it would eventually stop working because we watched it so much.

Kevin took this role I think, because of the fantastic script. It had adventure, emotion, humour and action. I thouroughly enjoyed it. Never mind the lack of the British accent, he made the role anyway. Marian was cute and loyal. Morgan was true to his word and funny. Sean at the end was a surprise. Thanks Kevin and utube.

The Bodyguard, a passion project of his that he also made with Warner Bros., is a significantly better piece of movie star casting, making the most of him as an alpha male in a romantic role. Costner’s muscular “Americanness” is his greatest quality and trying to shoehorn him into a dainty, mischievous British setting was odd. But hey, it wasn’t terrible. His own accent safeguarded him against Dick Van Dyke notoriety and he looks fantastic firing a flaming arrow.

Alan Rickman acted Kevin Costner off the screen. Alan was the best thing about 'Prince of Theives'. Every time Alan was in a screen he was the star.

Wrong. For me it was obvious that Morgan Freeman stole the show. And he is awesome in every movie I know. Alan was okay. Kevin did a great job as Robin Hood, period.
