Saw Kevin at several gigs in London. Just a wonderful artist that deserved more widespread appreciation. Is it true he was once considered as a vocalist for The Doors?

Allegedly he was approached by Jac Holzman, president of Elektra Records, shortly after Jim Morrison died but turned it down because he "didn't like the leather trousers".
