I am no longer a nostalgia fiend and now I can see that Zidane has the greatest PR of all time for a footballer. As elegant as he was, Zidane just doesn’t reach the same consistency level as other midfielders in his bracket, guys like Platini, Xavi, KDB and even Modric were week in week out game changers - Zidane was NEVER this, for club at least. His international performances are also overrated, everyone talks about France v Brazil 2006 WC but I urge you to go watch France’s WC run that year. Zidane had 2 good games LOL

Ronaldinho and Zidane are the definition of creativity and uniqueness. kdb, just the result of Guardiola's attack set up. try putting prime ronaldinho and zidane on a team in the middle of nowhere. that team would be hundreds of times greater.
