The Phoenix Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets, 104-97. Kevin Durant led Phoenix with 30 points, along with season-highs in rebounds (13) and blocks (5), as Devin Booker added 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists. Nikola Jokic led Denver with 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. Phoenix improves to 43-30 as the Nuggets move to 51-22. The Suns move to the 7 seed with the win.
With his 8th assist of the game tonight, Nikola Jokic became the first player in NBA history to record 8K points, 4K rebounds, and 3k assists over a 5-year span (2019-20 to 2023-24).

Beal has been the point guard when he’s been healthy, but he was playing with an injured finger tonight which is why Book was handling the ball more. And also, Book can definitely play point. Obviously he is better suited at the 2, but He’s played point pretty competently many times throughout his career. He is 12th in APG and averages more this year than Brunson, SGA, Fox, Jamal Murray, Maxey, and Edwards. So to say he can’t facilitate is wild

For Nuggets fans this was just another frustrating game where Jokic is completely passive as he sometimes is inexplicably, Murray misses yet another game due to injury like he does constantly for years and the bench is complete garbage which it has been all year. Thad Young has given the Suns meaningful mins and after watching Frank's postgame interview, he was asked about how well Thad did against the Nuggets and to paraphrase, Frank basically said that he'd use him whenever we were underhanded. You should be using Thad regardless! Thad has only played 3 games since becoming a Sun smh. And dont get me started on how Frank has IT rotting away on the bench. Frank's defense is why he's lauded, but he's no good for our current roster. Frank being hired only made sense if PHX managed to keep Ayton.
