Lebron and kd average the same points career wise and basically the same field goal percentage (if you want to get cheeky with it lebron averages just a little more points and has a small advantage in fg percentage). Kevin durant is a good scorer and above average defender but thats it. They both get roughly the same amount of rebounds. Your judging KD with the best shooter of all time which provides endless spacing and takes so much pressure off you to score when you have 2 deadly shooters next to you. You can even see just how much the team dropped off when steph curry was injured. Meanwhile if KD is injured they still remain a 73 win team without him. Lebron on the other hand left the cavs and they became completely irrelevant, he bought the heat 2 chips (where they werent championship bound before he showed up unlike kds warriors) and automatically makes you a title contender just by being there. Passing is an underrated skill, its arguably more important than defense in this day and age (a lot of people can pick up on defense, fewer can pick up on passing). So lebron brings elite passing iq a reliable scorer and a leader and KD brings offense (which weve seen that by itself is never enough think kyrie irving) and above average defense and arguably a locker room disruptor. Sure LeBron left the disgrace of an organization in the Cavs to form a squad in Miami, but let's not act like those years weren't competitive.
