I agree with the arguments Caitlin Clark isn’t one of the twelve best players in the wnba. I think a lot of these commentators are forgetting that sometimes leagues don’t send the best 12. They send the team they think best represents the league, the country and the sport. Or in some cases just to bridge the gap from older fans to more recent fans. The NBA sent the following players to the Olympics. You can’t seriously argue any of these players was the best 12 in the NBA at the time they represented the USA. Christian laettner -92 Shareef Abdul-Rahim -2000 Lebron in 2004 at 19 Carmelo 2004 at 20 Anthony Davis at 19 In 2012 My point: It’s not unprecedented to put very marketable players on the Olympic team especially if they are trending toward being the face of the league.

Examine racial bias when it comes to wealth gap, maternal fetal death rates, breast cancer, premature death overall, unemployment, debt… you are talking about racial bias when it comes to the wnba… yeah okay let’s look at the demographic of the players and the demographics of the owners… wealth after the wnba and who maintains there wealth and who doesn’t… like read a book…
