I'm glad Kevin mentioned Tony Leung and what he brings to the movie. Literally, the best actor in Hong Kong - a man who has won 14 Best Actor awards, including one from Cannes - is playing Shang-Chi's father and the main antagonist of this film. I'm way more excited to see him in the MCU than I am any of the others. Looking forward to some HEAVY-duty family drama.

Those shows got me into reading the comics which then lead me to watch every marvel film every made from Fox , Sony & Marvel themselves. Plus some of the games are good like Spider-Man , Ultimate Alliance & The Lego games. I’ve loved marvel for almost 20 years now & im actually almost 20.

And I also got some old comics from the 70’s as well that had the fist appearances for the guardians of the galaxy , the Eternals ( which was interesting ) & the inhumans.

It was one of the first characters for a movie they were working on at Marvel Studios before they even had the rights to The Avengers-characters who were sold off separately in the 90's. That's one of the reasons Hulk is at Universal still and why Paramount was part of Iron Man and Thor, all those characters where once all at another studio. Same goes for X-Men and Fantastic Four at Fox.

Why does DC always have the be brought in when no one is mentioning it I grew up with both Marvel and DC and love them both equally and yes DC does have problems no doubt but let’s not forget about the dark ages of Marvel having to sell film rights which brought some great Films Blade 1 & 2, X-Men, Spider-Man 1,2 but you aren’t remembering the bad ones. The Suicide Squad was one of the most fun movies I ever saw in theaters and it was better than some MCU films but the casual fanboys will get infuriated if you say that keep in mind I’ve only seen like 6 MCU movies in theaters and two of those including Iron Man,The Incredible Hulk so I’ve been there from the beginning seeing comic book film become way more mainstream over the years.

@@Vor567tez Perlmutter was above him originally, and that guy seriously sucks. He had views like no one will notice if we recast Iron Man's best friend, for ah, racial reasons. And that no one cares about female heroes. I think it was around and after Age of Ultron, Kevin put his foot down and things were reshuffled. After that, Kevin was only answering to the head of Disney I believe, and I think they were/still are basically like, just go do what you do. That's why phase 3 was the first era we were able to get a person of colour and a woman leading one of these movies.

Respect to Feige. The biggest MCU Fan and architect of the whole Marvel Movies. When he was a Producer on his early years, he really fought for what he thought was best for the movies and pushed Marvel movies on a whole new level. Even when disney acquired Marvel, they pressured him to a lower budget like Civil War and was pushing for child friendly movies. Sure that the Marvel movies are not as good as years back (being pure comedy without plot) but Feige is just the perfect person to be the head of Marvel Studios.

When I heard about this project for the first time I had no idea who he was lol, had to look him up and what comics he was in. The trailers have all been great though and the character looks cool and interesting. I really like this different take on the 10 rings so far though hoping in terms of the universe they can work backward a little bit at some point (maybe even in this film hopefully) and tie the Mandarin in to the mcu past and give us some more resolution with the Trevor Slattery prison thing. I also pray that Iron Man had an encounter with him or was seeking him out from time to time for whatever reason. In my head canon that’s what he was doing globetrotting in Spider-Man Homecoming lol
