When Baby-Love called 🤙 me, super 😆 excited and informed me she had discovered a new covered song that would allow us to rip the floorboards UP (AGAIN) at the next Chicago-style stepper set, I was immensely delighted because she knows how to pick ⛏️ Winners 🏆. Upon hearing legendary balladeer (Dr.) Phil Perry and Ms. Shannon Pearson's version of "Do you still care?" my toes, legs, and body started engulfing the enchanting rhythm and lyrics, suffice it say, I wanted to call 🤙Chicago and officially challenge the Great Pete Frazier, Tykman, Westside Mike, Doc, Drew, Marzette Griffin and Lady Margaret to a Step-Off. This version of an exemplary R&B classic had us dancing a foot above the Dance floor simply slaying the competition while WOWing the audience to a feverish pitch (I used ALL the aforementioned Master Steppers' dance 🩰 moves to absolute perfection); some songs just take dancers to "There City 🏙️", songs like this make us unbeatable on the dance 🩰 floor because we become one with the music 🎼🎶🎵.
