No he is not a "Mos def" or the typical lyrical rapper, what he does speak on is what he has experienced and he does it very articulately. Granted u may have never have put a Pyrex into a microwave which 99% have not, but his gift is letting u feel how he felt when he did. Jeezy, Master P & 2 Pac; all have sang about the same, but the emotions and reflections are what make his music and experiences different, and that's just speaking about a few of his songs. If u have listened to his work you would know how open he is and how vulnerable he is with in his music . Unlike most artist theses days he wears his heart in his music and his words bleed through the page.
