The audio is crystal clear for one, the audience has been mixed in yet it doesn't interfere/clash at all with the host nor guests adding an extra umph to the show, and not a bit of clipping/distortion.

On the contrary, sound is not edited it’s mixed. Unless you’re doing some kind of sound design where you’re creating sound EFX or Foley. But “mix” is the term you’re looking for!
