Yeah but I think 40 is about when the warranty on my body expired, and now of course things start to break 😂 But hey, I'm 47 now, been doing karate almost three years, and even though I'm out of shape and had a desk job for 20 years, my blood pressure has dropped significantly 👍👍 so, finding an activity you like is a huge plus!

Don’t worry about shape :) I’m in my 40s and have a desk job too so know exactly what you mean lol. Most important thing is to reduce carbs and fats by at least 1/3 because our metabolism is almost non existent in our 40s! I find having a sit/stand desk also help. I take the stairs instead of the lifts and park a bit further away so I’ve got to walk a bit more and get my steps to about 10,000 a day. Walking is also good for destressing :)
