Kevin... Saw you at the Jazz Estate Saturday night. I was visiting my daughter who lives three blocks away, and I said I wanted some live jazz and walked down. World Class! Awesome. If I had one word to describe this, it would be sooooo tasty. Reminds me of snarky puppy but with a bit more, idk... genuine flare and fun? It's still a 4/4 time signature. kick drum and bass are centered on a 4/5 poly rhythm. keyboards are playing groupings of 3 eighth notes over a 7/16 count. i hope that helps.
