honestly, kevin’s win is top tier in my opinion just because of how repeatable it was. yeah he didn’t control every vote dan, derrick, and dane, but he essentially broke bc can by memorizing what questions would be used in the end game comps and studying throughout the whole season for them. it’s to the point where it doesn’t matter what he does strategically as long as he can get to the end game, he’s guaranteed to win

I think people are confused between better player and most entertaining. The best player is the player who wins the game. As long as they didn't cheat the manner in which they won the game is immaterial. Personally I found the comp battle between Kevin and Demetres was very entertaining. I was on the edge of my seat. Kevin won mental comps (and some physical) because he worked out. Demetres won comps because he worked out. Ika could have worked out more mentally. She didn't. Same goes for Demetres. They knew how hard Kevin was working and he was doing it alone. They had each other to study with. Some people seem to think having to rely on comps to win makes someone a less skilled player. The reverse is also true. Someone who has to rely on manipulation to save themselves is less skilled than players who can win comps. Of the two, between manipulation and comps, comps is the more necessary skill of the two because you can't win the game without winning the final comp unless the person who wins the final comp chooses you. Kevin won the game and he did it as a lone soldier. That makes him the best player.

​No lol. It is you who is in deep confusion of what a good player is. Big brother is too complex of a game to simply state: winner = best player of that season (kind of like how the person who got the highest mark on a test does not equal the smartest person in class). Let’s go through the annals of big brother history, a vast majority of bbfans would admit that winners such as Jordan (BB11), Steve (BB17), Ian (BB14), Lisa (BB3), Nick and Phil (BBCAN4) were not the best players of their respective seasons. I won’t even begin about how there are some strong evidence showing that some seasons rigged their winners. This game is not simply composed on winning competition but an intricate web of social relationships, strategic insights and LUCK. Kevin did studied a lot and I will give credit where it’s due. Are you kidding me? Do you not know who Dr. Will, Dan, Derrick, Andy, or Maggie are? These are the some BEST winners that the North American franchise have ever produced. The first three are almost universally agreed by bbfans as the elite winners of the series. Dr. Will was famous for throwing competitions because he knew that he can easily manipulate the other hg to keep him safe. Derrick and Maggie convinced their F2 partners to bring the former to the very end despite losing to final HoH. Competition beasts are not automatically ranked higher than “manipulative” players that you can described; both are just different types of strategies. If Big brother was just about the fittest and smartest then you should just watch the Olympics and math competitions. Kevin was a lone solider because his poor decisions throughout the game. He wasn’t aggressive enough in saving Neda and he threw an HoH comp which put Sindy in danger (and evicted). By the time Bruno was in danger, Kevin did not have the numbers to save him either. You are entitlted to an opinion but man, your opinion is refutable on so many levels so please don't try to sort out other people's "confusion." FYI, I’m a Kevin fan and I love the fact that he won but stating he was the best player of bbcan5 is ridiculous.

It is a very complex game. It takes a balance of talents. Kevin did throw comps early on to stay under the radar. He did form a bond with William that saved him. He was a member of the six. He did form a bond with Bruno. If the point of the game is to win 100K then the best player is the one who accomplishes that task. Most devious player, most manipulative player, most entertaining player, are all fabulous accomplishments but if they don't win the 100K then I don't see how they can be "best player". If BB didn't want comps to play such a big part in the game they shouldn't make them so important. At the end of the day the winner of BB is the one who wins the final hoh and brings a goat with them to final 2.

Like I said, someone who gets 100% on a test doesn't mean they are the smartest in class. Luck is a huge factor in this game even the hgs/winners will tell you that. Sometimes it just being there at the right moment at the right time. If you honestly think accomplishing a task proves that you are 100% internally better than your peers and cannot admit to external influences and luck than your logic is inherently flawed and I don't know how to argue over that. Did you even watch all the seasons of BBUS and BBCAN? You cannot honestly tell me some winners were the best in their respective seasons since there were cases where production twists helped them at convenient times. He was a member of the six, an alliance with pre-existing relationships before season 5 started. In addition, he had a pregame season 3 alliance, another one up. A huge unfair advantage over the newbies. Newbies VS Vets games are always catered towards a vet winning because of production twists and pregame knowledge The only exception is BB14 when the jury was bitter because Dan went a little too far in his strategy (he still made it to F2 though). BB comps are not more important than social games. You are the one who emphasized on that point. Dr. Will and Dan were not the best in competitions, heck Will didnt even win the final HoH (or ANY competitions) and he still regarded as an elite player. Seriously, the fact I have to bring up such basic historic facts of BB and you HAVE NOT refute any of them in my previous posts makes me believe that you only watched the newer watered-down seasons of Big Brother.

I'm not talking about other seasons I'm talking specifically about this season. Ika and Demetres were also members of the six. In this season if Ika were a better player she would have won. She didn't even come close to winning mental comps which were not based on luck or chance. Ika could have gotten rid of Kevin and Demetres earlier and gone with a women's game. Maybe then she would have had a chance to win comps. The person who gets 100% on an exam was the best exam taker of that group. With the exception of Mark every single player that was voted off this season was voted off because of game errors they made and that includes Ika and Demetres. Ika's mistake was depending solely on her social game.

Neda has played a much better game than Ika. Season 2: Neda outplayed Ika Season 5: Ika outplayed Neda But despite Neda's game sucking in season 5, it didn't suck as much as Ika's did in season 2. Neda in season 2 was the best BBCAN player in history. Ika only had her social game going on in season 5, and she played phenomenally, but nothing compared to Neda's game.
