I've worked construction for along time. I've operated heavy equipment, drove dumps, repaired water mains and valves, electrical roofing, asphalt (yuk) and concrete (street maintenance).I've actually done the work physical work, not the easy stuff....Im telling you, a woman's body is not and can not handle MENS work!!! At age 33 I was done! Part of my body broke! Took me 2 years to be able to get back to desk work. My hats off and much respect to the hard working MEN!! If I had known!!!..lol

Served in the military for 15 years. Started out, out running the men in my platoon. In a year my knee was blown! The men tho.... perfectly fine. Bodies lasted way longer than mine. In the military on our physical test we have to do less push ups. Less sit ups. Less leg tucks (what Kevin is talking about), we are required to run at a time slower than men for a reason. Men are much stronger than women, period! Us women can push our bodies to do what men do but they will not last. One thing a man can’t do. Have babies. So yes women are needed. We both need each other. However, men don’t need us to survive industrially. Us women do tho. I’m not sure why any woman would combat that.

I live in TEXAS,(with the recent events) I expressed gratitude to my husband over and over just for being the man he is . Our power was out 48hrs... Guess who was outside freezing chopping wood, up late sustaining the fire, driving (risking his life ) to get whatever we needed, my husband made us fajitas using the fire place lol. He didn't break a sweat/complain at all. I told him I couldn't imagine going through that alone for 30mins , let alone days. He responded "I'm was built for this baby😉." My son and I are blessed🥰🎯

Make sure to tell your son to be a rugged man like his dad. Not only should he find a woman that appreciates that quality as much as you, but he should avoid women who can't recognize how lucky she is to have him. As long as you can appreciate your husband for his good qualities (and forgive/mitigate his lesser ones), your son will se that and be far better off. Good luck out there, hope the rest of this funny winter is better on you Texans especially. Once a century phenomenon, what can you do but get through it right?

That's it. With the current state of the world, the sad part is ... we were HAPPY WITH THAT ARRANGEMENT! It almost feels like a cliche at this point - but it's true and men of high caliber have been thinking it for years (if not decades). Fit, Feminine, Friendly, Cooperative, Loyal That's all it takes women ... if you meet a man, and he is any kind of man, give him those simple things, and he will move mountains for you. Give us those things, and show gratitude for them (not entitlement), we will take care of the rest.

I was an oilfield welder for 15 years. My career ended at 40 because I was diagnosed with 9 injuries from my neck, down my welding arm to my hand. The last 2 years I was sleeping sitting upright with my hand in two braces over the side of the bed. Men get these injuries too but they can heal from them where as my career is over. I did the heaviest of the heavy kind of work, and I loved it, but my body couldn’t take it any longer than I did it for. I honestly believe the damage on me was so bad because I’m female and was doing one of the toughest mens jobs. These women have no clue.

Most people have no idea what real chronic pain is. I'm NOWHERE NEAR as tore up as you are I blew out discs in my low back at 28yo & my first surgeon made me worse. Ended up at UW Medical Center & had 5 more surgeries including a pain pump machine surgery which was later removed. Was retired with a pension after 8yrs & I'm prescribed 2 different heavy opiod pain meds & a muscle relaxer which makes it manageable but I'm still in pain all day everyday. I sleep 1-3hrs at a time because my back wakes me up. Anyway I wish you the best hope you you can find some relief 🙏

I LOVE when women make the argument that "Women don't need men". Several years ago I lived with my sister (she's 3 years older than me). She would make those arguments also "What a man can do, a woman can do better". I'd just shale my head, even then I knew she was out of her mind, or talking out of her rear. One day we were out in her car running errands (she was driving... would not let any man drive her car). We got a flat tyre and pulled to the side of the road, and both got out. I immediately went to the side with traffic and was waving the cars around. She looked at me and asked what I was doing. "Making it safe" I answered calmly. "Why??" she asked. "So you can change the wheel" I replied. "Why would I do that??" she asked, getting visibly vexed (how dare I suggest SHE changes the wheel ... manual labour .. urrrgh!). I calmly replied "According to you, what a man can do, a woman can do better. By that logic, you can change that wheel more efficiently, if not only faster than I can. Best get on it Sis!". We have never had a civil conversation since. That was 20 years ago. See ladies want to be celebrated and adored and worshipped as being better than men, so long as there is never the circumstance that requires them to demonstrate this. And for the record, no, I did not help her change the wheel. I watched her do it.

Kevin I hope you get this message, I am a white male, 43 years old and live in Mississippi. Not that that matters I just wanted to let you know that you do you have a diverse audience from all over. Also wanted to give you a shout out and let you know that a lot of my friends listen to you to gain knowledge of modern women and how they think. Thank you for pointing out the flaws of the modern-day feminist/independent woman. I’ve made it extremely clear to my wife that I want to raise our 3 daughters to be loving, hard-working, beautiful and intelligent wives that will support their husbands. I definitely challenge them to pursue careers that they will enjoy for a lifetime but I make it extremely clear how wonderful the family dynamics are when a man has full support from their wife as well as raising mentally stable children. Peace from Mississippi 😎✌️👊🏼

My bf took me to a side job he had building a fence one day. He sent me to the Home Depot to get some screw and I couldn’t even do that by myself. I had to ask for help. Then, he had me use some power nail thing and put the nails in ONE plank of wood (idk if that’s what it’s called, but y’all know what I mean). It was hot outside and it required way too much work that I do not do. Then, I imagined how much work went into building skyscrapers (which he does for work). I’ve never appreciated being a female more in that moment when I sat down under the fan with mosquito repellent and controlled the music. I love not being a man. I think a lot of women feel compelled to qualify their existing by proving how we’re “equal” to men and that’s just not true. I helped my bf carry something heavy and though I helped a little bit, it was so heavy that I was exhausted and sore for days after. He was perfectly fine carrying his side AND where I was failing on my side. I work some cute sales job where I can sell lumber, per se, but I can’t build a thing with it and I’m happy about that.

God bless you. Please marry (when it is God's time), have a lot of wonderful kids, and teach them along with your husband the truth with words and actions; because they will learn from what they see you do, more than from what they hear you say- specially the girls, they need to learn how to be ladies, be accountable for their actions, be humble to value other's inputs and wisdom, to treat themselves and men with respect, and to be future wives- I believe the devil is mentally and spiritually attacking people very aggressively- this "modern" (aka Devil) society has already robbed many people of their identity, their role and their purpose.

The women I used to work with, who got paid the exact same amout I did, never had to do anything we men did. I used to lift out all of the trash, tie up 20kg bags of it and toss it out over my head every night until the bins were overflowing. I had to pull out the machines and clean behind them, several times the bread retarder almost fell on me because the women refused to take it out of the freezer. Essentially the men that worked with me were always picking up after the women for shit they didn't do, and we got zero recognition for it.

Also I was on a motorcycle trek through Yellowstone National Park we encountered a massive ominous storm coming over the mountain. I told my gf (mind you who I'd consider a strong woman) that my instincts were to turn back. Upon arriving in a small town we learned there were no lodges available and escaping the storm wasn't an option... Long story short she had all but a mental break down, crying panic the whole bit. I had to be stern w her and say "snap out of it! We are in survival mode, we need to do whatever we need to, to get through this I don't care if I buy a f'n blanket from general store and sleep on their bench! I will knock on a camper door see if we can pay for a place to stay" she felt "uncomfortable" doing that.. Many talk a big game but until you are truly faced w these situations you don't know how you will react and I think his point also lends to that reality. (I ended up talking to a fellow biker he had a camper was just him and graciously gave us a place to sleep for the night 🤗 Point is, it wasn't even horrific life and death situation and the freak out ensued I can't imagine if it was worse) Can you even imagine the modern Tik Tok housewives dealing w the concept of imminent survival?! 😦🤔🙄

We want women with feminine qualities who want a man to respect and love them. Modern women want a marriage and a wedding not to be married. Where tires you have to change weigh 500 pounds and one wrong step me you lose a leg or get chopped into a thousand pieces. But if you didn't have that man and you were forced to do it desire is taken out of the equation you must do it. Just like died out all of a sudden women would be forced to adapt. We men couldn't survive without women either.

And Danielle, your comment is very respectable because you are very accomplished but don't have disdain nor disrespect for people that aren't. We all need each other and should respect what each of has before us to do. The sexes in general compliment each other as do most of our careers. Harmony is a great place to be.

"Why aren't women working these jobs?" - "We don't have to!" Makes as much sense as me saying "I'm not curing cancer, because someone else will."

Had a conversation like that before... "men do those types of jobs because they are stupid". I had to explain that our entire society collapses quick, fast, and in a hurry without those "stupid" jobs. There would not be enough food, the food would not be transported, and waste from that food (urine, feces, and general trash) would not be taken away. Nobody cares about Graphic Design, Interior Decorating, or anything else when they're starving and the toilets are clogged.
