Served in the military for 15 years. Started out, out running the men in my platoon. In a year my knee was blown! The men tho.... perfectly fine. Bodies lasted way longer than mine. In the military on our physical test we have to do less push ups. Less sit ups. Less leg tucks (what Kevin is talking about), we are required to run at a time slower than men for a reason. Men are much stronger than women, period! Us women can push our bodies to do what men do but they will not last. One thing a man can’t do. Have babies. So yes women are needed. We both need each other. However, men don’t need us to survive industrially. Us women do tho. I’m not sure why any woman would combat that.

Make sure to tell your son to be a rugged man like his dad. Not only should he find a woman that appreciates that quality as much as you, but he should avoid women who can't recognize how lucky she is to have him. As long as you can appreciate your husband for his good qualities (and forgive/mitigate his lesser ones), your son will se that and be far better off. Good luck out there, hope the rest of this funny winter is better on you Texans especially. Once a century phenomenon, what can you do but get through it right?

I LOVE when women make the argument that "Women don't need men". Several years ago I lived with my sister (she's 3 years older than me). She would make those arguments also "What a man can do, a woman can do better". I'd just shale my head, even then I knew she was out of her mind, or talking out of her rear. One day we were out in her car running errands (she was driving... would not let any man drive her car). We got a flat tyre and pulled to the side of the road, and both got out. I immediately went to the side with traffic and was waving the cars around. She looked at me and asked what I was doing. "Making it safe" I answered calmly. "Why??" she asked. "So you can change the wheel" I replied. "Why would I do that??" she asked, getting visibly vexed (how dare I suggest SHE changes the wheel ... manual labour .. urrrgh!). I calmly replied "According to you, what a man can do, a woman can do better. By that logic, you can change that wheel more efficiently, if not only faster than I can. Best get on it Sis!". We have never had a civil conversation since. That was 20 years ago. See ladies want to be celebrated and adored and worshipped as being better than men, so long as there is never the circumstance that requires them to demonstrate this. And for the record, no, I did not help her change the wheel. I watched her do it.

Then, he had me use some power nail thing and put the nails in ONE plank of wood (idk if that’s what it’s called, but y’all know what I mean). It was hot outside and it required way too much work that I do not do. Then, I imagined how much work went into building skyscrapers (which he does for work). I’ve never appreciated being a female more in that moment when I sat down under the fan with mosquito repellent and controlled the music. I love not being a man. I think a lot of women feel compelled to qualify their existing by proving how we’re “equal” to men and that’s just not true. I helped my bf carry something heavy and though I helped a little bit, it was so heavy that I was exhausted and sore for days after. He was perfectly fine carrying his side AND where I was failing on my side. I work some cute sales job where I can sell lumber, per se, but I can’t build a thing with it and I’m happy about that.

My local newspaper front page article about a woman trained to become a 'motorcycle' cop. One of the main tests she had to pass was to lift her downed motorcycle. A week later I saw her on the side of the road with her downed bike and asked if she wanted my help to lift it, she said help was on the way. Especially city girls do not understand how hard real work is. Hell most city men don’t either. I grew up on a farm in western Nebraska. My family would work from 7 AM until 10 PM a lot of days. We would go out in -30 wind chill where your dripping snot is frozen on your face and you have to dig dead cattle out of ice that froze instantly. Where tires you have to change weigh 500 pounds and one wrong step me you lose a leg or get chopped into a thousand pieces. All so you can buy a can of corn in a super market for $1.25 or pound of ground beef.

My accountant loves working with numbers. I take her shoe boxes of receipts and a mess of statements and she sorts them and organizes them and enters them into quick books and gives me great reports. Can I do what she does? Yes, I used to do it when younger. I absolutely hate what she does but love that she will do it and likes doing it. I appreciate that she likes it, I appreciate that she is different. Why is it so hard for the woman in this video to simply say and acknowledge that. It's great to be different! How boring if everyone all liked and wanted the same things. What a vanilla world this would be.

In her defense his argument argument is flawed. For example and your comment you stated yourself that you wouldn't have the desire to change a tire and why should you you can't pay people men most likely to do it for you. But if you didn't have that man and you were forced to do it desire is taken out of the equation you must do it. Just like died out all of a sudden women would be forced to adapt. We men couldn't survive without women either.
@jimreimers42133 жыл бұрын
And Danielle, your comment is very respectable because you are very accomplished but don't have disdain nor disrespect for people that aren't. We all need each other and should respect what each of has before us to do. The sexes in general compliment each other as do most of our careers. Harmony is a great place to be.

Had a conversation like that before... "men do those types of jobs because they are stupid". I had to explain that our entire society collapses quick, fast, and in a hurry without those "stupid" jobs. There would not be enough food, the food would not be transported, and waste from that food (urine, feces, and general trash) would not be taken away.
