Everyone says ric is desperate for attention, but has anyone taken the time to consider that absolutely everyone ric is talking trash about, is also doing a podcast with Conrad. He attacks bischoff and Ross. He frequently talks about Jarrett. These guys are just talking smack so the next podcast of the others gets more interactions. It’s all a work.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw Bishcoff talking to Comrad on his podcast. I forgot about JR and JJ. You’re 100% right!

I thought Bishoff’s on-camara roll was excellent. He played a fantastic instigator with the attitude and arrogance of his character. I was not a mark by any stretch, but i used to find myself saying, “you little prick, i hope you get flattened” during most of his appearances. Bishoff was absolutely an important part of the magic of the NWO.

That poor question of mine, it got asked so out of order lol. Live show, it happens! But Kevin and Sean still handled it like total pros.

Eric is mostly right about Ric, The character of Eric on TV wasn't as impactful as Vince vs Austin but it was still huge, Eric was a great heel, I think the true NWO members are Hogan, Nash, Hall and Eric. Ric wasn't very popular with young people during the monday night wars, he was playing same character, doing the same promos in 1998 that we saw in 1987 and his matches were boring.

Flair was big in the 80's, period. Love him or hate him Bischoff took WCW to a new level. The NWO was the greatest villain story ever. Without Hall there would be no Crow Sting which was among the most polarizing moments when Sting would take on the NWO with the bat. Flair had great promos in the ring and later on with McMahon in the WWE, but wrestling wise he wasn't a draw anymore. It's sad at his age he still wants to beef with Bischoff about shit that no one even remembers.

You need eat fewer boogers pal, because that take is some straight horseshit. I started watching wrestling in 1983, at 8 years old so I saw it first hand in the 80's and the 90's, but thankfully you and anyone else who needs reminding needs to go to the WWE Network Vault section and watch WCW Nitro from when it began to when it ended. You'll find that Flair ALWAYS got one of the best pops of the night and when given something with teeth his segments always drew great ratings. I love Ric but have big issues with his conduct outside the ring. But as a performer in the wrestling genre he was peerless and no matter what opinions people have facts & the truth speak for themselves.

He's literally upset because Eric said he was making a example of flair because he refused to let flair take off thunder to go to reids tournament knowing he wasn't going to be used and knowing there were tons of other talent especially when bischoff said flair wasn't a draw that could have been used and not only fired flair but sued him for breach. He said on the wwe doc he was making a example out of ric for that

Does anyone not actually listen to what flair said. He's stated multiple times that his issues with bischoff was in the doc by wwe bischoff said him firing ric and suing him because he missed thunder to go to reids wrestling final tournament in the finals knowing bischoff didn't need him or was going to use him since in Eric's own words he had over 115 wrestlers there to use was done to make a example out of ric that you don't skip work when you feel like it as if to imply ric consistently missed dates which we all know wasn't true
@joshuasteward6097
@joshuasteward6097 8 ай бұрын
What if everyone else filed the paperwork to miss that Turner required? What if Flair deserved it? Eric said he didn't mean to make an example of Ric as a personal thing. He couldn't let talent not show.
@BigRaji1981
@BigRaji1981 8 ай бұрын
@@joshuasteward6097 so if he didn't mean to make it a personal thing and Ric rarely took time off for decades for anything which if you listen to other wrestlers talking about flair you'd have never said anything that dumb about how then is Eric or anyone else gonna justify it as not wanting it to be a personal issue and wanted to make a point that nobody needs to miss work when the one guy notorious for not wanting to go home for anything asked for time off WHEN THEY WEREN'T EVEN USING HIM ON AIR AT THAT POINT FOR ALMOST A YEAR and again he had over 115 other talent plus one's that he was actually planning on using on TV. That's who you don't want to let miss and you make a example of not someone who typically doesn't want to go home and you're not even planning or had been using on air for close to a year. Like htf does that make sense

Sean Oliver you will never be forgiven for comparing Eric bischoff to Martin scorsese. Would Martin Scorsese have been brought into WWE and literally fired for being incompetent before it even started his first day of working officially

I think the largest characters in Wrestling- Flair, Hogan, Honky Tonk, Piper, Cornette, Bret, Jake, Warrior etc… have a real hard time taking the character off in retirement, especially when the camera is on them. There’s truth that it is their personally turned up by 1000%, but where an average person can just ignore a comment about them, any excuse to reply is an excuse for a 15 minute promo from a legendary wrestler. The character Flair is doing harm to the man Fliehr, but does Fliehr survive without the mask of Flair?

People were tired of hulkamania and old school fans looked at wcw like wwf when Ted turner took over it wasn’t like nwa a lot of it was phony like. Those two reasons mixed with the steroid trial is why business was down. After wcw was sold everyone had seen everything there is to see and there wasn’t two company’s to chose from on tv to watch then Benoit and Guerrero passed away and by that point fans lost interest altogether in wrestling me included. I started watching again during the pandemic been watching since. Something else will probably happen to make me lose interest again lol.

My thing is why is Ric Flair going after Eric Bischoff again? It was your documentary. Why in the world would you have him on if you felt like he was going to say anything derogatory against you? My opinion he needs to let it go. That was over 25 plus years ago. Move on from it. I mean everybody always. Kisses Ric Flair's rings and championship belts Eric Bischoff still to this day is one of the most despised and hated people talking about wrestling or was ever in the wrestling business. So if I'm Ric Flair I would take comfort in that.

The few clips I can actually stand to listen to for more than 30 seconds have me completely puzzled. How in the world was Kevin Nash ever anyone that fired people up and got people excited about anything?? His voice sounds like paint drying he’s a walking bore. And from the clips I see it wasn’t all that great of a wrestler and I can’t imagine the angles being anything anyone would want to see please explain the appeal
