Loved Kevin's artwork in 2000ad, in the 80s, when I was a kid. Always a pleasure to see what twisted mad things he drew. I'm sorry to hear he passed away

Not just a terrific artist, but a man who helped change the face of British comics. Got writer/artist/letterer credits onto the page. Helped them build up followings.

Amongst a bunch of incredible energised talent back in the heyday of the nerve centre, this guy was a genuine genius. I do not use the word lightly, previously reserving it for Jimi Hendrix and Bill Hicks. Einstein was just quite smart.

I have just spent the summer re-reading all my old 200ADs. Kev, you have been a massive influence to me and your nemesis is amazing and the best! Massive props from an 80s kid and a grown up artist
