You have deliberately misstated Trumps comments about Rudd. Trump didn't say he would unilaterally get rid of Rudd. He said that he would get rid of Rudd if Rudd was hostile. It was very clear that Trump didn't even know who Rudd was.

It’s the one thing I find difficult. Rudd I respect at least he had a realistic view of china and will use his contacts to improve, strengthen that relationship. I bet it’s hard for Rudd, whilst pragmatic, he’s idealistic too. Murdochracy will pain him.

To the best of my knowledge, Rudd announced his departure of the role with regards to the RC into Murdoch media and left this in the hands of Malcolm Turnbull. (Much to my annoyance) So i would be asking, shouldnt you be asking turnbull what hes done in Rudd's abscence? Assuming you interviewed Mr Rudd on this topic. As both Rudd and Turnbull put on a "united front" when the Royal Commission was first announced. Also the comparison to what Rudd was saying few years back to now, i can appreciate, but the insinuation Rudd is eating humble pie and bending the knee when his statement was Very Safe is a bit overblown in my opinion. You should have focused on Turnbull for this piece and video.
