As a woman who enlisted into the navy for 7 years as a shipboard engineer, I would NOT want to be on the front lines lol Half the reason why I chose the navy is bc we are on water and push a button from miles away. Boots on ground isn’t for me. Even being an engineer it was heavily male dominated for obvious reasons. Now I’m a civilian and working in tech bc physical labor isn’t what I want to do for the rest of my life. I’m appreciative of the men who do the back breaking work.

I dated a woman and she’s working to becoming a naval aviator. Even then it’s not physical combat. We went to the gym together once and did some fighting stuff cuz she wanted to show me what she learned. I have 1 1/2 years of after school jujitsu and 4 years of tae Kwon do under my belt. I also have a processing speed deficiency that hurts my reflexes. I ended up destroying her in 2 minutes got her to tap out.
