Not sure if you were aware, but Kevin tuned down the 8th string on some of his songs an extra half-step (i.e. C#ADGCFAD), including this one if I'm not mistaken. This cover's practically perfect, but the breakdown did sound slightly off to me, and I'm pretty sure the tuning is why. Coming Home uses the same tuning too.

You can try and tune it down if you have a baritone scale length, but for most of the time you kind of need an 8 string for certain section of the song.

Alternatively, you could get a DROP pedal. I have one and it works fine for most songs (as long as you don’t need all 8 strings and just the bottom 6)
