I wore out the transmission in my Stampede 2wd should I just replace it with a stock one or Rpm. I could also get a aluminum one but would it be too heavy for bashing?

The Rc Maniac, I would recommend rpm, but I learned the hard way that you have to buy a special rpm bumper mount if you get the gearcase. Don’t do aluminum since it is probably weak, expensive for what you get, and overall not good. Only good for heat dissipation with speed runs. I would still go rpm though, since if you break it, you get a new one with warranty on all rpm stuff

I would recommend getting more into GT12 as it is rather cheap and the schumacher atom cc is a great car to learn with. I like the gt12 class myself and there is a large amount of people who can help you out. If you like GT12 then I would recommend buying a lmp 12th scale car like the schumacher eclips 2. they are super fun to drive and you can go pretty quick

Troy Mace, just becuase he has one doesn’t make it good. You almost instantly have to replace the traxxas servos and wheels becuase they will burn out or rip, and the car is 550-600 by itself. If you are getting into the hobby, I do suggest a traxxas becuase of parts support and what not, but don’t go 4x4. And if you have other rcs, you probably haven’t done your homework on a 600$ rc.

Kraton are know to chew pinions so id make sure you have a Tekno on hand, also will probably wanna put a 14 tooth as stock is 12 and a bit slow.
