Excellent overview and the narration was very well done! Glacier Gorge area among my favorites in RMNP, thanks for the effort to put this together 👍

Good list. Andrew’s Tarn in dead winter will be very challenging with high avy risk. I’d probably replace with Flattop/Hallett or Mount Lady Washington which can be done safely in winter and offer fantastic views too

Thank you! And agreed, I’m thankful we had mild conditions for Andrew’s otherwise we likely wouldn’t have done it. Lady Washington is a fun one!

Hi Kevin, thanks for this great video! I’m visiting this park next Friday the day after Thanksgiving and only have one day to hike out there. If you had to pick one of these hikes which would you choose?

I went to Frozen Lake last summer. It took a long time, and getting back took forever because I went the wrong way and had to traverse a cliff. When I got back to Black Lake, it got dark out. I hiked all the way back to Glacier Gorge in the dark night. I even saw elk crossing.

Glad you made it back safe! Frozen Lake is a cool one, but when we did that in the winter it was brutal for us 😅

Microspikes, yes. Your 5 lakes hikes where 14 months age I was stupid enough not to put the micro spikes from the backpack on, slipped an tore my quad tendon off my kneecap... It is good to have a wife to hold on the side where the leg does not work anymore to get back to the car. Really nice wedding anniversary hike, otherwise :)

I’m so sorry to hear that happened, hopefully recovery wasn’t too bad. I’m glad you’re able to still have a positive attitude towards it! Thanks for watching Charlie
