I’d add one to your list. The Grandstaff Canyon and Morning Glory Natural Bridge. It’s about 3 miles up the highway along the river from Moab. Not in the national parks. Used to be called Negro Bill Canyon up until 2017. It’s got a short doable hike to Morning Glory arch - 4 miles round trip, and watch out for poison ivy alongside the trail. Morning Glory is kind of hidden away in the canyon and has a span of 243 feet - making it the sixth longest arch in the US. Super easy to access this from Moab area and add it on to whatever plans you have for the day.

Thanks for doing the drive and taking videos of places outside the 3 main parks. I definitely want to see the Fisher Towers and take the La Salle circling drive the next time I am there, with a 4x4. Just lots of places to stop and never enough time.

Great video and info. Most scenic part which I enjoyed most was the scenic drive on scenic byway 128 which you drove on for top 5 hikes. Which i took out to the ghost town of Cisco and then onto I70. Gorgeous drive thru the canyons and mostly along the Colorado river. Thanks for taking us along...

Both of my sons did live in Moab! We went where no tourists could find ! Alot of rock art hidden in out of many canyons! I cherished the time with both my sons in Moab

Breathtaking video! We visited Moab in November, 2022 and only had 2 days; we came down Shafer Trail and ii was epic!

Thanks Kevin for sharing. I have visited Moab a several times, but only place I visited outside of parks was hole in the rock. Now I need to go back to visit other 10 places you mentioned here. Thanks again. By the way, great pictures as always. 👍👍

Another great vlog, Kev. We tried to add in Moab for our trips before the RTW drive to no avail. I love this list and saved the vlog for the planning of our Utah leg. We just put out our video from Zion National Park. It was an amazing experience in beautiful nature. Keep up the great content and adventures. The La Sal loop route doesn't quite circumnavigate the La Sals. The route actually traverses the La Sals between Gateway and Castle Valley. It's closed in the winter.

Very nice presentation. You showed a vertical sandstone wall (with a road next to it) multiple times and I wonder what that road is.

Great video! Looks like all of these places are drone friendly, too...? Taking my sons to Moab in July. 2 of us are in to still photography, 2 in to drone stuff. So looking for things to see out side of Arches and Canyonlands as well...

Just make sure to research everywhere before you go. Can’t fly in national parks or wilderness areas. State parks are easy to get a permit, and there’s a lot of awesome places in Moab where you can fly outside of any park boundaries

I wish you and others would do a better job of showing where the places are on a map with clear instructions on how to get there. You never even said where corona arch is.

Really enjoyed the great video. You are an exceptional artist in presenting these breathtaking views! Reminded me of my adventure in Canyonlands and Corona Arch in Oct 2020. The Moab area is really fun. Love the snow in this video! ❄️

We went on a road trip from Maryland, loved staying in Moab, loved canyon land, Zion, just everywhere we drove. Thanks for ideas of areas we missed.

Need to work on your place names, friend. Potash is pronounced just how it looks, and just what it is: potassium ash (not po-TASH). It's Castleton Tower (or Castle Rock), never Castle Tower. And local pronunciation of the LaSals is not a soft O, rather it sounds like the A's in "salad".

Not in national parks or wildneress areas. National Forests are okay, and state parks sometimes allow permits, have a great trip!

Just got back from Moab, went hiking in Arches to photograph some of the arches.

Hole N" The Rock is an interesting place. Too bad the owners had to deface the cliffs nearby with their HUGE, UGLY painted signs. A few smaller signs along the road would have been just as effective in drawing in tourists.
