Belt’s nickname in this game actually makes sense. In ‘21 he anointed himself team captain of the giants. And he used duct/electrical tape and made a ‘C’ on his Jersey. The joke cracked up his teammates, the announce team, and the fans loved it. He ran the gimmick for the rest of the year. It also helped he actually played really well while he ran the joke. MLB quickly forced him to remove the C from his jersey lol.
