Hi Kevin, I agree the quiet place poster/shirt was pretty basic, but all of the elements makes sense if you’ve seen the first movie. The girl looks like the mom in the movie, the red lights amongst the cornfields are important to the story, and the three claw marks are because the monsters have three claws on each hand. You see those claw marks on a lot of walls and building throughout the movie. My daughter and I love your videos! 🙂

You are right my husband has prob over 100 hhn shirts as well so I always ask him about merch and he’s had no interest in this one or really any last year. Etsy would probably make something better, to me this looks like a low budget stand of shirts you would see on the corner of a city selling outside an event for $10 lol.

I gave up with hhn when Fnaf and Creature from the Black Lagoon were deconfirmed. Howl o Scream and Screamageddon are just better deals and less crowded. Btw I don't know if you've covered it yet but like a month ago when the tribute store plaza opened my brother found your videotape in the right by the entrance.

I personally don't understand why anyone would want to buy an IP shirt anyways. I buy an HHN hoodie every year and plan to do the same this year. I would be content to get a hoodie version of their punk design, or maybe if they do another design - but an IP shirt? Nah.

Also shady with the Preview Pass is that the number you call is dining. I called on the first day and they were like, "What pass? This is dining." I called back on the second day and they had a script to help AP members. Looks like this rolled this out without letting dining know they would be handing it.

Unfortunately, they usually won't sell merch with actors' faces on it because then they have to pay royalties. Same reason Last of Us merch last year used the game characters (smarter decision regardless) and not the actors' likeness and why Stranger Things used Vecna and not the cast. Feels like they should go with a different design if they know they won't want to use a recognizable character, though, like putting a monster or at least a more memorable logo design. I will say I'm still holding out because last year's early merch releases were also subpar and then the week (?) before they started dropping all of the really good stuff, e.g. Lil Boo, original house / scare zone tarot card design shirts, etc.

Everything about the AQP shirt is boring. It’s mostly black with some red and white. It’s a girl 🤫 kinda from a movie that is good but not really a cult film or massive blockbuster. Everything about it is down the middle. So not graphically appealing and a middle of the road movie.
