I’m interested in a topic that explores a boundary between specialties, namely the limits on what a real go-getter, “cowboy” family physician can do, versus a general surgeon. Supposedly, family physicians in large portions of the world do a lot of basic, essential surgeries that they wouldn’t do so much in the US. I’m curious what the practical boundaries are on that sort of split-the-difference training.

I am really grateful for surgeons. A navy surgeon did my hernia repair when i was 18. I am 32 and a nurse now. Thanks for what you do.

I want to go into the military to be a surgeon but i heard that it is really hard to fellowship in the military and I don't know what branch to go into

Let me save you a lot of heart ache, AIR FORCE! I was in the army, the airforce was knocking down homes they deemed unsuitable living conditions for their airmen, they heard the army was going to be stationed at their base, guess who stopped knocking down the homes and was still cleaning the black mold 3 months into the move in date… Airforce takes care of their people and family.

Are you still considering I’m 19 idk how old u are just asking. From your comment obviously you want to be a surgeon do you know what age you can join military for health do you need to be enlisted like no experience?
