I’ve been looking at Job trying to understand a deeper meaning to this story but it appears Jobs story just shows us that complete righteousness can not prevent attacks from Satan and complete righteousness will not even minimize the attack. I believe God wants us to love him the way he loves us. Meaning if he loves us through our sins knowingly and unknowingly then he wants us to love him love no matter any opposition.

There is a lot of different angles to view Job from! My pastor Rev. Gillison in BUFFALO NY, used to come to my husband’s church every year for revival and preach from Job and every year, he came from a different angle. I can’t remember them all now. However: here is a little of what I recall and you may have heard this preaches already or come to this conclusion yourself after reading it. 1. Satan is able to come to see and talk to God in Heaven because he was there and told God that he’d been going to and fro upon the earth, seeking whom he may devour. - that means that Satan is out here looking for people to jack up, to mess up their lives, to take to Hell with him. - but it also means that not everyone can be taken or misled or brought down, because he has to go look for the weak people. 2. Job was righteous, so much so, that God was bragging on him/about him. God asked Satan: “HAVE YOU CONSIDERED MY SERVANT Job??” Like do you see how righteous he is? That means we should notice that God is watching us, taking note of how we live our lives! 3. Satan asked: “well does Job follow you and worship you for nothing? Don’t you (GOD) have a hedge around him (Job) that I can’t break through or get past? That means we will be somewhat off limits to Satan’s attacks when we live righteously. (Generally speaking). Because prior to this conversation Satan could not touch Job or his household/family. So it pays to follow God! And it pays to worship him. Now I’ve loosely paraphrased these verses, but you get the gist of it. Another time, I heard it preached that Job did continual sacrifices on the behalf of his children because they were partying all the time, just in case they are any time sinned against God. (This was a different teacher) but he said something about this is like having fear and repeatedly doing something when we should do it once and leave it alone & trust that God heard us. I’m unsure if I’m going for that interpretation, but I just thought I’d throw it out there. There’s more but this is already long. Perhaps this helps. I’ll add to this when I’m not tired of typing!!

Well if you read where Job was praying to God and pouring out his heart. He tells God if only there was one to mediate between us. Jesus had not been crucified and resurrected. I believe we will go through difficulties, but we have Jesus now. I pray God reveals you how much blessed we are knowing Jesus has paid it all for us❤

21:00 Hallelujah!! Here's my testimony.. 9yrs ago, July 18th, 2014, I was hit by a car (as a pedestrian) which changed my life. Every year since that accident, on the anniversary, I get really down... the past 2yrs have been the worst i.e, last month, I wept like a baby.. and up to Tuesday night, I was on a phone call with a friend when I began talking about my life since the accident, and again I wept.. but then a small voice of comfort said, "it was God's plan. You could have been 6ft under but you are alive." I was living in sin and doing things my own way, hence, after everything was put on paused because of the accident, the revelation came to me through scripture a month later, Proverbs 19:21... since that faithful day in July 2014, I have held that scripture very close to me, I was comforted... I am going through my season as I'd often tell my friend (9yrs) and just like Joseph, I am being prepared.. To God be the Glory, great things he hath done... 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Every time when I plan to fast I become so depressed, irritable and physically sick with deep body aches. All this seems to have intensified ever since I had a dream/paralysis where I saw I figure come through my bedroom door and grabbed my leg at that moment I woke up as my 9th old baby let out a scream. God allows it to grow us and to get us to the destiny He has for us scripture states “all things work together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose”. I also think about how the Lord hardened pharaoh’s heart and sent many plagues and at the end, the Lord took off their chariot wheels (Exodus 14:15) and drowned the armies chasing the Israelites. All this was done so the Lord could be glorified. I have to remind myself regularly the good, bad, and indifferent work together for our good. To shape us, change our mindset, see it all from God’s perspective. I know this is not always easy but we have to make it a pattern to focus on what the Lord is doing and be conscious we fight not against flesh and blood. I think about why does the Lord allow certain things but He does allow it to work on us.
