I appreciate your teaching. This form of teaching is not for everyone. I wish I had this knowledge 900 years ago, but God's timing is perfect. Someone got mad at me because I said, “people who are not even saved, marriage is striving. I also said God rains on the just and the unjust.” People believe only those in Christ's marriages can last when that’s far from the truth. For example, I met a married couple who, when they got together, wasn’t saved. The woman spoke so well about her husband, and her husband did the same. One year the wife got saved, and the husband didn’t, but she continued to be a good wife to her husband, and he did the same. Eventually, her husband got saved, and the rest is history. It’s all about CHARACTER.

This is a great testimony. God can work on unsaved people's hearts. I wouldn't say though that this means a Christian should marry an unsaved person, or just any Christian for that matter but seek God's will. Ultimately it is about having a thriving marriage for God's Kingdom. Many are happily married but still on the path of destruction.

The big problem is that each of us must look at ourselves and do a introspection of whether WE have the characteristic we're looking for in a spouse. Oil and water doesn't mix; it'll finally separate. I remember many decades ago when I heard women speak of themselves as being a Proverbs 31 women. So I sat down and read it for myself. I laughed bc those women evidently NEVER read it. These women didn't have 5% of the characteristic of the Proverbs 31 woman. I thought to myself these women needed to "get to work" bc they were falling short of the standards of the Proverbs 31 woman. And first and foremost She had a reverence for God beyond those characteristic mentioned. So first take the LOG out of our OWN eyes so you can see clearly to take the saw dust out of another person's eye. Clean the INSIDE of the cup and not just the Outside.

I have seen several christian marriages end in divorce, one of them so nastily its not funny. I have been separated and now divorced for 7 years and regret not knowing that I should have sought the will of God prior...I thought loving was enough, how foolish was I. On top of that there were signs which I ignored.

Thank you, I will go back and watch your series to follow what you are saying. I have seen many views on the topic. There are different schools of thought: (1) Divorce and re-marriage is unbiblical full stop. (2) Divorce and re-marriage is permitted where one party was the victim of a spouse who committed adultery. (3) A man can only get divorced if a woman has been unfaithful, a woman is never permitted to re-marry if divorced. I am interested in what the truth is according to God's Word, marriage is a honourable thing. Also, there are some Ministers on their 3rd or 4th marriage, is this permitted? God bless.

So many people are in toxic marriages because of tradition. So many women have good husbands, and they are cheating on their husbands. So many husbands have good wives, and there is some woman’s inbox. I have more married men (saved and unsaved) in my inbox than single men. I know a couple , who are youth pastors at my former church where the wife speaks so highly of him all over social media and in person, but he’s in these streets with different women. He even invited one to the church. They once were separated and got back together, but he’s worse now than his first rodeo. Tradition is what the wife is holding on to. Through knowledge shall the just be delivered. Being married to a saved person doesn't make him faithful. Character means everything. Allow God's will to be done and not yours.

That is the very reason why I discontinue listening to WHAT THEY SAY! I can give many examples of my life when I was not a Christian and cried out to God, even though I was not serving Him, and he answered my prayers. Could it be due to his knowledge that Kevin would be a Christian in the future? I don't know, maybe! Nevertheless, He (God) said, "for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." So my advice to you is to go and research that scripture concerning God does not answer sinner's prayers and observe carefully who made the statement, who the word was said to, and more importantly, "God does not answer the prayers of sinners" a law from God≥
