I’d argue there is no such thing as sin, as good or evil. Realistically, we are all on a floating rock in endless vast space and that is beautiful, that is god, and the universe doesn’t have a good or evil, it simply exists as it is. We created sin, good and evil, as a way to judge others, protect the social contract, and promote community, but it’s not real, nor should we judge others based on our thought of “sin”. I could believe that smoking cannabis is a sin yet a person who has cancer might praise god for creating this beautiful plant to help them. It’s all subjective

@@garkogarko what is objective about the idea of sin. Take murder for example. I understand the argument that humans are out right smarter than animals so when we murder it is different then when animals do it however that does not negate the fact that murder does happen. In the animal kingdom, we are animals, therefore murder is neither good or bad, since when animals do it, it is neither good or bad. Or how about self defense, once again, it is subjective. One may believe they murdered in the name of self defense but the family of the murdered may not believe it, it’s all subjective, it’s all circumstantial. I’m not for murder, I’m not for adultery (even though the institute of marriage is complete BS), nor am I for anything that goes against the Ten Commandments, but I would definitely say that everything in the Ten Commandments, everything in the Torah and the books of Jesus is all completely subjective and holds no true factual basis
