I think that's great advice. Too often people try to "stick it out" with a bad job or a bad relationship due to people pleasing or fear of change, loneliness, failure, etc. Life's too short for that

I subscribed last night Kevin as I stumbled onto your channel. Great job! Bob(cat) is a super funny and intelligent comedian as well. His standup routine was on point. I was fortunate enough to spend some one on one time with him (wink wink), after a show. I was his driver and had to drive him from a casino in Washington state back to Sea-Tac airport. We talked and laughed. A sweetheart of a guy. Along the drive, he commented on my vintage jacket. When I dropped him off at the airport, I took off my jacket and gave it to him. He said, “Wow, no one’s ever given me clothes before”, and gave me a hug. That was in 2001 and I still have fond memories of our conversation. A couple years later I saw him on TV wearing that same vintage blue, mechanics jacket with orange stripes. A great guy. 👍🏽 :)

I liked bobcat back in the 80s. As soon as he jettisoned that character and did stand-up as himself I loved him. The story about doing community service with Johnny Depp after setting Jay Lenno couch on fire. And emergency landing on aircraft with special needs child. Great storyTeller!

Love Bobcat. Saw Police Academy in high school and came out of the theater doing a pretty spot-on impression of his character. I then proceeded to do that impression, (even the facial contortions), that there are some people I went to high school with that probably still think I actually talk like that! Finally got to see his stand up act live shortly after he had set Leno’s couch on fire. Would love to meet him someday. Great hike!

I stumbled across this show as well. This is the fifth episode I've watched. How refreshing. Just walking along enjoying a bit of nature with a friend has an organic way of bringing out the real person inside the celeb. For instance: comedians have the rep (justly so) of having the need to always be "on." Its almost if he/she/they are afraid to expose the human being outside the "celeb overcoat". Well done Mr. Nealon. Loved you in Weeds! Bobcat is a true gem of a person that I would love to share a coffee with. Good health to you both always!

Nice hike, pleasant conversation. It was great to hear you two reminisce about Robin and Garry! Also, I love your off-the-wall line of questioning. For example, your question about "do you think you've ever met an uncaught murderer?" is something I think about now and then. I've never actually asked anyone that because I thought I was the only one who thinks about such things which, I am happy to discover here, is NOT true. :)

I still remember Bobcat as the voice of Mr. Floppy from Unhappily Ever After. Even though I knew it was Bobcat’s voice, he truly took on the role of a stuffed bunny from the mind of an insane father of three. Bobcat was incredibly hilarious on the show. There’s a reason why he got some of the biggest cheers and applauses on the show. He made it his own, and the show was the better for it.
