I'm following a tutorial you made about using Shotcut to edit and there is something I'm missing and no matter how I look I can't seem to find what I'm looking for... okay cutting to the chase: I'm making a compilation of certain clips from a movie and while that part is already done,, I still can't seem to get rid of the background noise or sound from the video... I want to retain the speech from the characters Kevin and use a different audio track... Please why can't I seem to successfully do it even after detaching the Og audio from my video? After detaching the original audio track, My filters option for the audio are inactive.. Please help or give me another alternative.. Thankyou

Voice isolation in CapCut and shown in this video can handle that very easily 👍 I’m not sure if shotcut has that capability.

Love your videos by the way. That said, Cap Cut must have changed their software because even though you just posted this video 3 weeks ago, the option for Vocal Isolation (@10:53) is not there. In the video it shows it being just below 'Noise reduction' but the only thing below it now is 'Channels'. Even still, love your videos. 🙂

Ive been watching you and Casey along with a couple other creators and I know DaVinci has a big learning curve...But what do you prefer? 🙂 Honestly Bro... Even to buy Studio over CapCut Pro.

My current go to is DaVinci Resolve. DaVinci Resolve gives you lots of depth and control, but with that comes a deep learning curve. I've also been using it for a while now and I'm accustomed to it. I'm really impressed by CapCut and would recommend starting there. Trevor Jones recently pulled together a really solid video comparing CapCut to Adobe Premiere (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYvEZJ2DfJpllbM). Although it focuses on Premiere and not Resolve, I think the comparison is still valid and applies to Resolve as well. Hope that helps!

Like many others have mentioned, the AI Character feature is not found in the latest PC version. It is not found even in the latest beta version. The workaround to it I guess is to use the feature on the web version, export the video and then combine it in the desktop version. Not sure why it has been removed from the desktop version in the first place.

Hi kevin In capcut, I make slides from photos and videos of famous people and voice their biographies. When the videos are 2 minutes or more long, it takes me an incredible amount of time to prepare these slides and give transition effects every time. Can you give me some suggestions to shorten the time?
