It amazes me that even after the success of the Losi LMT, most hobby brands haven't gone all-in on their own versions of solid axle monster trucks. There's sooo much untapped potential for that market!

Had a clone from HBX called GX-4 i believe, ran on a 7.2v pack & was pretty quick for it's size. managed too crack the lip of the rim which didn't affect driving really & damage the 27 mhz receiver which kind of killed it. Sent it off too a guy who was supposed too repair it & my mini-z's (Burnt mosfet on the pcb of the mr01 & a Iwaver 04 which needed some soldering on the servo side of things & it would have been up & running.) I never got it back but i got the mini-z's back & he didn't even try too do anything with them they just were left in storage collecting dust for 2 - 3 years or something. There was also the A-tech 1:20 monster truck which was basically a rebranded Venom Mini Giant, pops up on the bay every once in a while, there's actually one on there now new in box A-TECH BISON. & I know HBX for a short while had a solid axle 1:16th scale monster truck called 16885 as well.

Sup.. I just found my TMAX from 2002.. I barely used it back then.. it needs like $20 in parts to fix front control arm.. engine still runs.. where can I sell it and how much is it worth? Where could I trade it for like a $100 electric car?

That wee thrash around with the sound of the V8 was actually highly entertaining... !!! I thought that it would be the perfect advertising for the company building these prototype's,. Kev , These little monster trucks are quite desirable as long as they don't brake easy... I love everything about the mini monster trucks... Just brakeing a common wishbone doesn't count to me as a failure.. kev let this company know what they have to do to make these little monster trucks bullet proof so the idea doesn't collapse into the rabbit hole of lost dreams... With your collaboration these are sure to be a hit for any company.. I'd like one now. But the wish bones on the suspension seem to be the first thing that brakes on most RCs . When are the companys going to wake up and do some thing about this ongoing issue!!???? Maybe you should tell them in a nice way 👍🤪
