I'm glad you're attempting to make the Amarillo Dragway Great Again. Hopefully, more people will get involved. Being from Amarillo originally, I'm pulling for you. I was just at BMP last Wednesday for Sick Week day 2 and will be there this Saturday for the Pro Superstar Shootout. It seems like only the racers and lovers of the sport can save these places now. Like Cleetus has done with the Freedom Factory and also him teaming with Victor at BMP. It's taken him a while to get here though. So just focus on 1 thing at a time. Good luck. I'll definitely be watching.

When I was a kid there where grand stands on both sides of the track, the side where it’s all grass now was spectator parking and the fenced in area was for racers only. I’m sure I can find some old videos,

Might be a stretch, but maybe some sort of community grant? Back in the 80's Amarillo PD even had a car they'd bring out and run against us Hoodlums. They tried anything to keep us from street racing. Wanted us off Polk St and Soncy Rd. Not sure about now, but Amarillo High even had an auto mechanic class and shop.

Far as parking lot talk to a concrete company they usually have extra see if they will fill the holes for free they usually just dump the extra anyways. Just prep the area have someone smooth it out. Just a idea how we did a semi parking yard for free
