Warryn is HILARIOUS! Don’t be judging high school in the 90’s because I took a music class in my senior year that no one else knew existed 😂😂😂. All I wanted to do was sing & work my lil part time job…I got A’s everywhere but Spanish 🙄🤣. I had to earn that B! And ima DAY ONE Mary Mary fan. The first person you see in Shackles video is none other than…Baby Dub. And Kev, as a NATIVE BALTIMOREAN, who went to high school and sang on the gospel choir with Sisqo, you just earned my UTMOST respect! You bet that as much as I love Jodeci, it’s Dru Hill in East Baltimore Cuh! And Angel is still a fave 😊. Listen here Warryn Campbell: when thinking about people who will buy an album of Mary Mary farts, that’s me sir. Me. If Erica & Tina wanna burp on wax in harmony, I’m paying my life savings to be its first owner. My kids are just gonna eat from the soup kitchen, but Mimi is getting that album! J/k but probably not 😂🤣. So Erica was on that Mother’s Day concert here in Baltimore the Saturday before Mother’s Day. My brother’s birthday was May 8th & my sister-in-law’s aunt’s birthday was the 7th. This is the aunt who raised her after her mom passed away so this is a good birthday/Mother’s Day gift. And my sister-in-law is a BIG Tamela Mann fan & my brother knows I’m a FOREVER MM fan. So he gets us tickets to this concert-myself, him, my sister-in-law, her aunt, and my mom. Mom had death in the family and was in another state so she didn’t get to attend the concert. I got to bring my daughter instead. It’s only right because my brother has been spoiling my daughter her whole life 🙄. So we get to the concert, & when Erica hits the stage, my daughter pulls out her phone and starts recording. Annnnd I’m SHOCKED! My 11-year old is having the time of her life! When Erica is done, she stops recording. When the concert is over, my poor child looks sad. I ask her what is wrong. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Bless her lil heart-she thought Tina was coming out too! Something Big, the last full MM album, came out when my daughter was NINE DAYS OLD. But there hasn’t been a day in her 11-year old life where she isn’t hearing Mary Mary somewhere in my house! She knew all the songs on the Verzuz like I did. THAT is how big the Mary’s are.
