My Emissions failed on my 09 plate Vauxhall Vectra 1.9 SRI CDTI Estate gutted as you would guess and £250 quid later it passed however I changed the wrong tyre I did drivers side not passenger side so that stung me £168 in total.. But Today I noticed DVLA have clamped a car I bought and I've not registered it in my name for obvious reasons I already have 9 taxed mot and insured cars and I work in with there MOT and insurance.. I in all my life of ownership have never really had a car clamped by DVLA.. Its annoying to say the least as it was on SORN and I thought it was parked in private car park not owned by council. The car is 50/50 I originally bought it for spares but on reflection its too good to break for just a rear bumper in colour and the same with bonnet and boot lid and door mirror capping. My cars in question are Vauxhall Astra Bertone 2.2 convertible on a private plate but 52 plate and the other is same but only 1.8 and a limited edition model with heated leather interior in tan/beige.. and the previous owner said he put brand new convertible roof.. So I am not sure which direction to go.. I don't get any regular work and that is an issue as my van I own outright and is old shape 14 plate.. If it fails MOT I will be devastated And my 52 plate 2.2 I already spent £830 on last mot.. Cool video.. So what was you very own car the HRV From sounds of it..?

Bargain 👌🏻 just want to say on passenger side looks like the door rubber has come unstuck. Seems to be a common thing on the newer Ford’s around that year had the same thing on my mk-3 focus st. Only had it two months 🤦🏻‍♂️

What a shame that cars like this are being sent off to be scrapped, what a wasteful society we live in! Good to see that you have got it back on the road with very little input. For every car scrapped there is a massive carbon footprint to replace it with a new one. Very strange all this move to be greener!

Put some cataclean in fuel tank before you take car for M.O.T. that's what I was told when mine failed on emissions
