Riki 13. Carrigan 14. Hetherington (defensive workhorse comes in for our Hooker when fatigue sets in, he has bad runs so may aswell pass and tackle) 15. Willison (need an impact prop) 16. Tapau (need a strong prop with exp) 17. Oates (covers 2nd row and backs, has moments of brilliance but isn’t an 80 min players anymore)

Bench underperformed. Mam was a handbrake on most plays, because he was clearly targeted and shut down. Carrigan and Haas were tired and Carrigan wasn't organising the middle well after he got tired. Offloads from Sharks killed the Broncos and crucial errors at important moments just made it an insurmountable task. No Arthars, no Walsh, no Reynolds, no Willison and some pretty sad performances from the depth players. Sharks weren't that great, but Royce Hunt won the middle half of the game for them.

I also had a feeling we were going to drop off as soon as the second half started the Sharks have a squad that can bounce back just like that if we weren’t gonna back it up and give the game away the Sharks were always going to punish us we lack discipline and make too many errors.

State of origin should be moved to the end of the year. NRL is great completion playing second fiddle to a interstate marketing con for six weeks. Thanks to State of Origin ratings have gone from a reocord to in the toilet.

Sailor has been great n the past and it was an obvious choice. He had a dog of a game, but this was a problem with the forwards. Baker is good but was manhandled. We missed capewell, fleg and panasini. Maybe time for tapau. Mam was very quite. Running wasn’t working for him. I think we’re done for the year to be honest. I’m very depressed. I live in Argentina and there is no one here to vent with. Extraño mi gente de brisvegas. I actually think we’ll lose next week against souths.

I cant believe how particularly poor Mariner, Sailor, Baker and Mam were. Mariner has had some really poor games this year and I think everyone will be better off if he goes to QCUP for a month to get his head right. The moment he couldn't even pick a ball up of the ground was the end for me. I know Sailor has just come back from surgery but his poor performance under the high ball last night led to at least 2 tries, which was pretty much the difference (in score only). The moment that broke me though was when we were getting pummeled, Cronulla FINALLY made a mistake, and on our first attacking set in idk how long Baker drops it cold on tackle 1 like what on gods green earth was that. Fire baker into the sun with as much firepower as you can gather. That was absolutely diabolical for a guy trying to break into the first team. The way we played reminded me of our spoon year where we would have no field position, no attacking ball and every time we're in possession we drop it cold. Not disappointed with the loss, Cronulla were amazing (especially in defence), what gets me is how pathetic the Broncos were and how much we lacked effort and enthusiasm. The level to which we were outplayed last night we are extremely lucky Cronulla didn't put 40 on us. Good on Kevvie for not making excuses with origin / injuries because that was not our issue.

Get the boys back to basics. Catch, pass, play the ball, shapes. They still make far too many errors, esp in own half, and they never give themselves a chance to out pressure on opposing teams. Finally, shapes look weak, and too many ball hogs and selfish players. Ive counted dozens of potential tries gone begging this year if the center or 6 would have just PASSED THE BALL. Get back to basics and complete sets or the year is cooked.

Our two buys off the bench rubbish. Jocks just doesn’t have that attacking flare Adam does. Mam was well controlled and too many errors from him and a couple of boys. Willison was a MASSIVE loss. Also sharks used their shoulders in tackles and we could not stop Any offloads

All injured…. Literally besides Karapani who we got from a feeder we have no wingers/centres left until Arthars is back. We have Tapau and Hunt as our only other forwards the rest we’re available. Paix and Rodgers are our only bakc halves and that’s the 30 man squad..
