Just saw Nada Surf live at the Frist Unitarion Church in Phiily. A very small venue with not great acoutics,however, they were great. They had the crowd singing and dancing with most of their stuff. The crwod was mostly young ,but some old, I mean mature folks like myself, 65. Great music music knows no age. I Can't get enoung of this Album I became aware of them through the band AMERICA. They contributed a song to a recent Album," Here and Now", Always Love..Joe S

What a great band, I was fortunate enough to see them in Lancaster, PA and just recently in Philly. I'm already looking forward to seeing them again. The sound in Philly was unbelievable. The best band I've heard in years! My favorite songs are Killians Red, Fruit Fly, Always Love, Beautiful Beat, Are you Lightning, Waiting For Something...........the list continues to grow the more I hear them. Nada Surf Rocks!!!

I am sad I did not keep up with this band, but I am also happy to discover them anew! Really solid writing, and Lorca is a fun bassist! And Caws: I keep thinking of Jon Auer (The Posies), Jason Lytle (Grandaddy), and, yes--Paul Simon. Especially Paul Simon. Maybe it's a New York thing.
