In 1989 I went into work at a restaurant in upstate NY and told everybody (a bunch of really intelligent people) that I had just discovered the next big thing. I talked about his uncofromatiy in regards to his singing but how regal the words he spoke were. It was Neil Young. A guy that had been making great music for decades. Skip forward. Listening to 105.something as I took the 101 to the 280 and I heard LB. I moved to vegas shortly after and started running wine lists. I showed everybody in Vegas who would listen LB. His skat singing was incredible. His joy for life and what it could be. His actual name drips even more than his stage name. And her lungs?@? She is... She is Giambi hitting home runs with every note. Life is better with you guys in it.

Is LB actually wearing gators, let alone ones worth several hundred dollars? Either way, gators or not, I am 100% on “Team LB”!!! He plays right into my childish disdain of anything mainstream or top 40 in favor of local /underground artists in a bizarre desire to have my own personal treasure. And just like with an actual treasure you want as few people to know about it. I mean it means the band you like doesn’t get to achieve commercial success. Finally imo 90% of the general public has utter trash in musical tastes. Meaning if they like something to me that’s a huge red flag of a bad song.
