Thank you for sharing this. To gain a full appreciation of Jovanotti, you have to understand his personal and musical journey. In my onion, he is one of the best pop lyricists currently operating in any language. There is music in the words he weaves together long before the notes are added. When he first came on the scene in Italy in the 1980s, I have to admit that I absolutely abhorred everything about him: his connection with MTV, his studious irreverence, his uncritical love for and imitation of all things American. But then he suddenly grew up in the 1990s and found his real identity and, along with that, a sound that manages to be simultaneously genuine, thoughtful, and appealing. His best songs are absolute poetry. And for those who focus on the limitations of his voice, I offer the examples of Bob Dylan and countless other musical greats who lack the vocal richness of Pavarotti.

scusa, in base a che cosa ?? a me non sembra. Pur nel suo english non prorio british, ha coinvolto la platea (guarda anche l'altro video di lui sempre sul canale di kexp radio): Con ciò ognuno è libero di avere la propria opinione. Pur nelle forse imperfezioni, é una performance dal vivo. Anzi, sai cosa ti dico? Apprezzo queste leggere "imperfezioni" che lo rendono ancora di più un artista genuino, e nonostante gli anni che suona e che fa divertire il suo pubblico, non è sopraffatto dal perfezionismo business musicale in genere. Scusami, ma é ciò che penso. E con questo, anche se non ci conosciamo, un augurio di continuare ad ascolatre ed amare la musica, in qualsiasi forma essa ti piaccia. Buon anno.
