... delia. as a gorgeous woman, with a pretty name, what do you like about this tune? I am serious, too. I Like a female perspective. Thank you.
@LeaVionne6 жыл бұрын
Mike Porchia hi! I found this song by accident and I instantly loved it, perhaps because its so different than songs that are currently playing on the radio which I so deeply despised (no offense!). The instrumental, the way the vocalists sing it, the metaphor lyrics are what makes it so unique. Its a great song!
@mikeporchia89146 жыл бұрын
SOOOOOO TRUE, Delia. sooo true.THE "ONES" WHEN YOU DISCOVER WHEN YOU AREN'T LOOKING FOR THEM ARE THE BEST. KIND OF LIKE WHEN YOU ARE MINDING YOUR OWN AND THEN LOVE , LOVE SMACKS YOU IN THE FACE. BAM! WHAT IS NOT TOO(SP) LIKE ABOUT THIS TRACK?!? BEFORE, I WOULD CHECK OUT PAWN SHOPS FOR OBSCURE AND DELICIOUSLY TASTING MUSIC. IN THOSE DARK DAYS I FOUND MANSUN'S - "ATTACK OF THE GREY LANTERN" YUMMY, STILL. ARNOLD'S - "HILLSIDE", AND RIDE- ALL OF THEIR STUFF. NOW IT IS "YOU-TUBE". P.S. NOT YELLING, OR AM I VISCERAL BY NATURE, JUST THE "CAP LOCKS" KEY HAS BECOME LIKE MYSELF, TEMPERAMENTAL. OH THE STRUGGLES. GOOD LUCK TOO YOU. AND THANK YOU. PEACE.

Slowdive showing us how beautiful reverb could be...holy shit....since 1989...im stuck on this live version. It's actually better than the studio. Kexp along with slowdive created magic and I thank everyone for that. So extremely grateful 🙏what blows my mind is that on this track especially you can hear the band jam. Beyond excellence...to me this song is perfection and timeless. The mix on this where you can listen to each instrument individually is nothing short of brilliant.

This is just an amazing work of poetry. The soft gentle and yet agonizing angst that intelligent spirits encounter is well captured...very elegant and simple....love is a light and ephemeral and fickle and cruel thing....but it is, for all its ephemeral characteristics, real and magnificent and ultimately sad...nothing lasts forever not even the stars....
