The .300 Win Mag case is the one i've seen the largest growth from factory new to 1st firing. Some are almost scary. Flowing brass is almost an understatment . . . ☆

So it is okay to cut the overall length of the case to 10 thou shorter than SAAMI? I never realized it was important to check base size. That's on my list for tomorrow.

Taking advantage of your video, quick question. What happen when one of the dimensions shrink instead of grow in one particular rifle. For example, shoulder length (head space). I have a rifle that the shoulder length shrinks by 0.001 after firing. Any concerns here?
