Kim Kibum, aka Key, aka Icon Supreme! He makes gay music for gay people! No but honestly, he is an amazing artist, and deserves to be recognised for that. I'm an OT5 stan, but Kibum has been my bias ever since I first watched SHINee's Replay MV way back in 2008. The last few years of his solo work have been an absolute treat. He hasn't released a bad album, or concept, and I don't think he will. He's so creative and unique in his style. Whether that fashion or music, or concept. And, he puts his absolute all into it. The same goes for who he is as a person, unique amazing, and doesn't ever try to be someone he's not. Sassy and blunt, but with a huge heart ♡ He's just, amazing really, and I adore him ♡

key isn't afraid to wear whaterver He wants and perform whatever He likes. he's been in the industry for almost 15 years and it's his 2nd full solo album. it's also the second album where key has been actively coming up with the whole direction of the album, packaging, sound, fashion and so on. he's very hands on with his art and he honestly doesn't get enough credit both from his company and general public. he constantly has to fight his company for his ideas, but i think it's so worth it. you should ckeck out his gasoline album

Yes!!! Key deserves all the recognition. I love the opulence of his outfits. Key is serving looks and intense eye contact. I don't know if it can be reacted to, but even if not, please check out the performance of his song "Bound" from his new album. You absolutely won't regret it...100% guarantee. Key's music is top tier. Please check out *Bad Love" by him. Excited for a SHINee reaction! They have such a massive discography and such varied music styles, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. I will definitely recommend "Excuse Me Miss" as its absolutely iconic. For more recent content, "Atlantis" and "Don't Call Me". Believe me ..this is just suggestions for a starting point because there's just so much. I wasn't expecting a Key reaction. I follow you for your drama reactions but SHINee is legit my favorite kpop band of all time. I've listened to them since their debut in 2008, though I didn't become a full on shawol until 2010. They're the only kpop group I've kept up with consistently after all this time. Yes, Key is from SHINee. 😊 He's officially the Lead Rapper, Lead Dancer, and a Lead/Sub Vocalist. He's considered a true All Rounder in kpop terms, meaning he can any position in the group. Although, to be fair, the SHINee kpop "positions" don't matter much anymore since they've all grown so much in their artistry over the last 14 years that they can all do any of the positions as needed for a song or performance. Right now SHINee is on hiatus for group activities as the youngest member, Taemin, is completing his military service. He should be finished by early next year. While they wait for Taemin to be discharged, the older members are focusing on their solo careers. All of the SHINee members have solo music alongside their group activities. In terms of breadth of solo music, Taemin has the most extensive discography as he debuted solo first back in 2014. Next is one of the Main Vocalists Jognhyun, then Key, then the leader Onew. The last member, Minho, only has a few solo songs. Minho is also an actor and his solo activities mostly focus on his TV and movie roles. If you've watched any of these kdrama shows, you may have come across him: Hwarang, To the Beautiful You, Medical Top Team, or Yumi's Cells. Anyway, back to Key...Key's 2nd solo Korean album "Gasoline" just dropped last week. He has a couple of live performances of two of the b-sides I think you would enjoy: Bound and Villain (feat. Jeno from NCT). I'll put these on your Discord too once I'm off of work. lmao 😂 Key is a fashion designer as well as a singer and actor. He is also one of the official Fashion Directors in SM Ent. for both SHINee and his own solo work. He is considered to be one of the Korean industry's biggest idol fashionistas so he has tight control over everything he wears, including his costuming for MVs and stages. Everything he's wearing in this he either designed or put together with his team from pieces he curated from other designers. Key absolutely does not have a problem with wearing anything. He oftentimes likes to wear gender-neutral clothing and has spoken many times about wanting to help break down the gendered thinking around fashion and cosmetics. He is often a brand endorser for clothing and cosmetics typically geared towards women and very deliberately does not ascribe to gender essentialism around fashion.

I recommend Shinee singing live in their concerts and nobody can overcome them. Tokio Dome 2015 - Sherlock and Clue (japonese version) or Lucifer or Everybody, but this last one is better if you watch the MV. When you have time you should watch the entire Tokio Dome Concert on youtube, more than 3 hours, by your own.

All the SHINee members are absolute legends!! TBH I’m sure you’d love everything done by them as a group or individually but I feel that you’d be blown away by Taemin’s solos the most. Criminal, Want, Move, Idea, Advice, Danger, 2 Kids. I’m sure I’m forgetting lots of others. It’s like Taemin is the standard in the industry that every idol since has tried to become, he’s known as the Idol of Idols. He’s also the leader of the SM Supergroup SuperM which is made up of members from SHINee, EXO & NCT, my personal favourite of theirs is Tiger Inside.

Just a small correction: the official leader of SuperM is Baekhyun! As Taemin is the most experienced among the members, they suggested that he be the leader, but he said that it would be weird because he is SHINee's Maknae and suggested that Baekhyun be the leader because he is the oldest 🙂

All of the concert performances are great, especially the OT5, cause then, after the tragedy, all concerts were kinda filled with grief and tears. The short Mnet show "Shinee is back" is also great. 5 or 6 episodes if I remember correctly 🤔

Fun fact: Key has a degree in fashion and does his own (and his group Shinee's) styling and is even a fashion director at his company! It's not a bad thing to think so either, so your immediate negative reaction is unnecessary. Queer People like myself, and the commenter above know when see other queer people, and Key has done PLENTY over the years, to let us know who he is. If you were an actual SHINee fan, you'd understand that. Like you're telling us not to assume, you yourself should not assume that, just because he's Korean, or an idol, that he can't be gay. That's incredibly offensive and an idea based in racism. It's people like you with that kind of mindset that builds an environment in which, idols who may be lgbt+ can't be who they are publically if they want to.

You should definitely react more to SHINee and their solos. I think you would like it and I would love to hear your thoughts on some of their lyrics and messages. Key has always been very very vocal about breaking gender barriers with in fashion. Taemin (Youngest in SHINee) is also very know for having embraced this genderless image, not afraid of showing his femenine man side. Actually you can see SHINee as a whole will always try to break the norm in all aspects and has been criticised and praised because of that, so if you start listening to their music you will see each comeback / album song is completely different and new but still will sound like SHINee, and they never disappoint. A few recs of their solos MVs you might like, Key Bad Love, Taemin Advice, Taemin Move, Onew Dice, Minho heartbreak, Jonghyun She is.
