Thanks for the video! I'd love a series of videos on how to get into this craft. The initial setup you'd recommend for beginners, where to source your materials, thought process when designing and deciding on the order of operations, etc.

I'm friends with Luiz Ally, owner of Tryally. I've been following your videos for a long time. Tryally's tools are really cool. Luiz's lab is incredible! Thank you for sharing your artwork.

I love these type of meditative videos. I watched almost all of Clickspring for this very reason. There is Wristwatch Revival, Robinson Foundry, and maybe Ghost town living. KZbin sucks at promoting channels so we have to to do it. GOOD STUFF Sir!

Reminded of one I had similar to this by Harley Davidson. You could press a button in the back of it, and release whichever keyring you wanted to. Great design. Loved this one - well done.

Отлично! Я бы предусмотрел лунку с замком, что бы можно было вынуть ключи при необходимости.

The local Makerspace near where I used to live banned cutting stingray leather on the laser cutter because it was apparently very stinky when laser cut. Not sure I want to find out.

I have a Sherline lathe, but I've never seen such delicate tooling for it before. Where do you get your boring bars/lathe tools? Beautiful work!

a Sherline lathe can be had for under $1,000, and brass can be cut pretty easily with plain tool steel. It's not exactly the type of thing most people will have in their garage, but the stuff being used here is certainly attainable by mere mortals.

NO NO, NO NO NO. Cool design don't get me wrong but people can copy keys just from a photo. Don't put keys in places people can easily see them.
@demonstructie Жыл бұрын
Yeah a criminal would only have to estimate the scale of the key based on nothing but pixels, copy it in minute detail, figure out who this guy actually is and where he lives, travel to his location, and try all the locks on all his doors, windows, cabinets, cars, bicycles, et cetera, and one might eventually open. Definitely worth some criminal mastermind's time.
@DoubsGaming Жыл бұрын
@@demonstructieIt's not that hard dude. Go watch the modern rogues video on it. Assuming you print the key right the first time it can take only a couple of hours. Depending on what printer you have it could also be as little as 30 mins. You don't need any sort of mastermind.
@littleworkshopofhorrors2395 Жыл бұрын
@@demonstructieso a criminal copies the keys, finds this chap home and goes to rob it, only to find the keys aren't his! I was talking to a prison governor once, socially not business, and he said prison warders are not to show keys to Inmates for fear of them copying them from memory.
