Let’s hope Stokes is the right kind of “solid number two.”

I agree LVN had an okay season, but man am I excited to see how he improves next year and for years to come. I saw moments/glimpses that really excite me. He’s big, strong, fast and athletic and has all the right tools to become something really special, mark my words.

Watson missed 11 games, but in another 5 games, he clearly was on a pitch count and was not a factor at all. When you factor those 5 additional games into the mix, it paints a much different picture. Like Aaron Jones, you need to be both active and playing a majority of the snaps to be a difference-maker.

Hopefully the new strength and conditioning coach Aaron Hill can help keep Eric Stokes and Christain Watson stay healthy because to me one of the reasons the Packers have struggled the last few years is all the hamstring injuries.

You said his name a ton and he’s my number one packer with my eyes on him for this year. Hafley. Let’s see what he can cook up and coach up

Would be great for the top paid CB in the league to start playing like it instead of a mediocre journeyman

Most interesting story line of 2024; were the defensive players really miscast under Berry or are they just not as good as we hope.

That is the big story, but we need to be patient. Systemic changes take time to implement fully. Might have to wait until the second half before we're happy.

I’d add Rashan Gary. Three sacks on T-Giving vs Lions, then a half sack the entire rest of the season. A timely Gary sack vs SF could have flipped the game. That’s what his paycheck is for, not a half sack in eight games. Frankly, the only returning vets on D I’m not concerned about are Kenny and Preston.

I agree. Big time players make big time plays when the game is on the line ala Reggie White or Charles Woodson.

With that Michigan UDFA OL retiring, Donovan Jennings is even more of a shoe in for the 53. We need a standalone episode for him please.

The Jordan Morgan domino effect will make the Packers offensive line much better. And the performance of the offensive line is the key to how good the offense will be this season. If the offensive line plays well, GB WILL have a dominant offensive this season because we have the QB and a whole bunch of very good offensive skill players. In addition, Matt L demonstrated last year how skilled he is as an offensive mind and play caller. The Jordan Morgan draft pick makes it highly probable that the Packers offensive line will perform well and the offensive will be amazing. I can’t wait to watch the offense dominate this year. Go Pack Go!

Alexander Gary and Van Ness are all on fraud watch as far as I’m concerned. In the case of Jaire and Rashan, they both need to start playing up to their contracts at least a bit under this new defensive scheme. For Lucas, he needs to demonstrate that he’s not a bust, especially if Enigbare can’t start the season I guess in that sense it’s Haffley who’s really on watch lol. Can he get these guys to play up to their theoretical potential?

Watson has only missed 11 games but there's been a lot of games where we clearly wasn't 100% and not doing much so seems like more.

The whole 2021 draft class will be on notice and any def players that were drafted for 3-4 def scheme could possibly will be canx if not able to adjust to new def. Any offense player who struggled will be canx as the team is going recycling players left and right.

Kalen King will beat out Eric Stokes for sure, and I have a feeling he may put himself in a great position as Corner #2. He's got a lot to prove and that chip on his shoulder.

Keisean Nixon should be in the top 5...mediocre to poor slot corner and didn't have '22 return numbers in '23. Add in the big contract he signed.

hope against hope... I want to see LVN to get two game balls, or shared, after 3 sacks, force fumbles, tackle for loss (broken screens).etc. if this is the case... i feel... it will be a game changer for the back of the defense. If VanNess and Wyatt can have near probowl performances.... a deep playoff run, lots of broken up passes and INTs (even a few returned pick6's). to me this will be the litmus of this defense. super pressure up front and swarming bodies all over the back... with our athletic linebackers... opposing QB's should be seeing just a blurr of swarming green/gold hornets flying around the field. I am excited nonetheless... this is a crazy competitive division for the nest 5 years..... we could easily go 9-8 (or 9-9 eventually) and lose 7 games by less than 7.... to our neighbors.. of course, we maybe on the other side of this.... I am pumped for the next few years... seeing teams have to think twice about coming up north to play any of us FOUR ... have some of that gravitas again (!). (pulling for KK on defense, would be a great Cinderella story after going late). **** Wicks/Melton **** are me two to watch.... if watson is healthy, our TE's demand respect i n the game... and defenses have to "box up" for Jacobs... man.... can you imagine how much fun it will be to be a WR? #10 looking at the miss-matches and giving you that pre-snap nod..... if we can get that safe pocket for Love....

As the offseason progresses, and the Packers look to solidify their offensive line, the focus will likely shift the 2 key positions. The battle for the left tackle position features Jordan Morgan against Rasheed Walker, while the competition for the right guard spot is expected to be between Sean Rhyan, Royce Newman, and Jacob Monk. Despite the potential for the upheaval, it appears that Josh Meyers is positioned to maintain his role as the starting center, barring a shift in the team’s strategy. Whether Zach Tom will challenge for the right guard position remains to be seen, but it’s clear that the Green Bay Packers are keen to place their best 5 lineman onto the field come summer. Go Pack Go 💚💛

it feels like Watson's missed a lot more games than he actually has because he was ignored so much that first year being stuck in 12's doghouse after that big game-one drop.

Also multiple games where he was clearly not 100% and used as a decoy or was injured early on and left the game.

@@6Snaus yeah...he only, finally, broke out that year after the WR room got so depleted 12 was forced to use him. to his credit Watson has been very PC in his comments towards 12. isn't it funny how the "it takes two or three seasons for rookie WR's and TE's to develop" narrative disappeared last season. all it took was a coachable QB1 and everyone running the same offense. 😆
