​@@sean-rt3qv I would point more towards the cable. Sounds like interference and that's usually a cable thing. How I would tackle this issue: Easiest/cheapest fixes first. 1. Unplug and plug back in. Test 2.Try different port/jack. Test 3. Replace cable. Test 4. Also test the connection to the PC to the mixer if you have one. That could also be faulty. (Unlikely to only cause audio issues but I have seen weirder things with electronics, especially audio.) If all that doesn't work, that then indicates either all ports/jacks are messed up or the microphone is messed up. The two more expensive parts to replace. So if you're able to, test on old hardware. Older microphone, older mixer. Or use a friend/family members setup to test. Basically repeat the above steps. If you do not have older hardware, it'll then come down to needing to sacrifice some money to maybe get it to work. I would suggest picking one that you were looking to upgrade anyway to start.
