I love that you called out a slew of heavy hitters on the start list but missed the guy that took the win with the attack from 18 miles out and stuck it. 💪🔥 Giovanni Romero-I’m sure you’ll be seeing his name atop podiums more this season, and I’m fortunate enough to have had a front seat to his progression over the last few years…he’s ripped my legs off too many times to count!

Coming from the guy that has every other KOM in Seattle Metro! I'd take this warning seriously!
@YeeFengКүн бұрын
@ Haha-KOMs are good enough to regularly garner me eleventeenth place finishes, though. Giovanni (Yogi) is the rocket ship errbody’s going to be hearing more about if they don’t already know him!

Dude’s a hitter in socal too. Absolutely a threat, especially with his teammates.

Wider tires were the move, picked up lots of riders who got flats... one guy was 1 mile from the finish climb, and got a pinch flat, ouch! Can't wait for your race vids Jeff!

Will, my man! Rubinos are dog slow tires, I really hope you aren't racing on those guys.
@travispyle2905Күн бұрын
I was thinking the exact same thing.

Training setup! Had to have a tire that would make it through a few weeks of training, and this came on the bike...they're about 5/6w slower than gp 5000s-the test was done in 2019, but yeah...slower for sure...I'll add to the excuse list 😅
@KelvinSuddithКүн бұрын
@@williamrhardinaww man, I feel you, but they also tend to be less grippy in the corners, especially in the wet. Learned that lesson the hard way so you don’t have to 😂
@williamrhardinКүн бұрын
@KelvinSuddith i was thinking that, they tested well on wet grip on the bike rolling resistance site though, so wasn't too concerned (I've had bad run ins with training tires in rain before). They raced really well in the rain, too. Unfortunately their supposed strong suit of puncture protection didn't work out, flatted them yesterday!

@NorCal Cycling You're describing the race route & turns, on the video, we only see the climbing portion and not the turns or the finish line📌

shoutout formula 369!! thats the first time i've heard you mention them. It's been an absolute game changer for getting all the carbs I want without stomach issues. Historically I've needed some solid fuel because any liquids that had enough carbs were just too gross for me. But I raced all last season with just that in my bottles and it rocked

I love Formula 369. Been using it for a while now. I generally use two scoops, as I'm always alone in the wind, kind of older and south Louisiana gets super hot and humid for most of the year, so I need all the energy I can get in, LOL..

They made a few custom turtle paint schemes for road bikes as a one off last year, I guess they sold quite well and produced more? Good to see an old brand trying new tricks 👍👍

Try #3 asking a question, and adding an additional question or two per atempt: Did Will model for The Black Bibs? 👀 Did your 5k cost for the Tavelo include a wheelset? Where'd you get ultegra di2 for $1400? What aluminum top cover did your Mike's teammate use on the Solist to fix the ever loosening headset issue? Kthxbyeeeeee :D P.S. 👀 Some rando named Pascal Ackermann who won a stage of some race called the Giro in '23 👀
@lolbubs11111Күн бұрын
You can get ultegra di2 for about $1400-1500 from Gambacicli (Italy). I got a DA set for $2600 from them.

Will, you've already lost with that absolute dog shit set up. It's so ridiculous because you could give yourself a chance simply with a wheel and tire swap. Rubino's are THE slowest tire available.
