The one guy talking about should he stay in his boat. What?! Have you never been through a hurricane before!? I'm forty and I live in southeast Texas and I didn't see my first hurricane till 2005 with hurricane Rita which came a month after hurricane Katrina. Since then we have been through eleven storm's since then. The one thing you don't do is ride a hurricane out in a boat!

Some have. You ride the boat to save it. Usually the best thing is get it in some inland waterways to protect it from the worst of the sea and wind. I think his problem there are no inland waterways to bring it to. So he made the right decision.

Exactly, the waters to unstable and the wind is to high the boat will capsize and will be completely destroyed in seconds. He’s probably never even been to the pacific north west in bad weather which is bad but a hurricane is 10 times worse.

Time of arrival was 4 hours short and it’s been slamming for 6+ hours Cars are totaled from salt water. Thank goodness we didn’t lose power. Lots of flickering and even WiFi AT&T and streaming never lost. Kudos to AT&T. Comcast I’m sure off

Spent some time in Key West many yrs ago (1993&94).Had a very enjoyable time! .So I wish everyone down&around the 'Southern most point' safety and good Health! ..And I know many folks down there are pretty phlegmatic without being dismissive of these Hurricanes&Storms so I'm sure they will all stay vigilant.

Sharks migrate away from those areas where the hurricane is known to make landfall (Same with birds). They gotta be careful with the alligators that’ll start to move inwards to take shelter😂

I lived in Key West during a hurricane decades ago. Came out in the eye and rode bikes through the flooded streets. Was worse than this. Nice place to rent, I'd never BUY land there.
