3.5mm is standard for plate foam. Bottom foam generally uses 1~2mm.

You can do simple lubrication and install the bottom foam.But the PCB foam can not be installed without desoldering.

You are right, the foam is not thick enough, it has been replaced with 3.5mm Poron.

How thick is that foam you used inbetween the plate and pcb?

The foam in the film is obtained randomly, in fact the thickness does not match. 3.5mm is the standard positioning plate thickness, and this thickness is recommended.

@@wlanamaicp 3mm for hot swap keyboard ,4mm for soldering. You can search with the keyword "plate form". They will be standard 3.5mm.

One side Non-Woven and one side EVA.I just want to try it out and it doesn't look bad.But it is not thick enough, so I replaced the 3.5mm Poron foam now.
