New here. I like this keyboard. Don’t know anything about keyboards. Incan you keep lights underneath solid light blue. Can you also make key strokes quiet?

Yes to both questions. The backlight can be configured in the VIA software to almost any color/pattern you want (incl. solid light blue), and the keystrokes can be made quieter by installing (hot-swapping) silent switches such as U4 65g or Kailh BOX Deep Sea Silent Pro switches. There are many more options on the market besides these two.

I don't understand why they add layers of foams, gaskets, and then people mod it for dampening the sound. All these can be achieved with a silent switch. Coming from K10, I wish it had dust cover.

Silent switches often feel very weird to type with because of the measures the developers took to dampen them. Modding the keyboard itself lacks these drawbacks

I personally don't mind the feel of silent switches myself. But the sharper feel you get on bottom out and upstroke is dampened, and not as "crisp" as a normal switch. Sound is totally personal preference as well. Some people like the dampened flatter sound, while others like a more full sound with some resonance to it. There is an an almost infinite combination of switches and keyboard configurations to get the sound that you like!

Silent switches suck, they feel gummy or something, I cant explain it but I hate them. I also like the noise too, so it doesn't bother me but dampening the sound isnt a bad thing.

You could always try getting an extra set of caps and mixing it together, or painting the key caps that differ with a different symbol. Viel Glück!
