I’ve come from a traditional art background and have done hand animation before, but it’s a frustrating pain… I also know illustrator too and do design stuff for a living, but my experience with animation in the past scarred me and we didn’t have animate either. In fact, I was in school when flash died, but animate wasn’t a thing yet so we used other tedious software I didn’t like. I appreciate this video, there’s nothing wrong with using this to be more efficient because when you have deadlines drawing by hand isn’t it lol. I’ve been trying to understand how to make that swooping ink blob design I see everywhere now (it’s in your intro too), so this is the perfect video lol. I assumed it was handmade stuff, but it seems it’s much simpler!

Eh, that's only if you don't know how to use After Effects. I've seen lots of incredible stuff all animated in After Effects. Check out Tony Babel or Motion Markus or Deekay.
